About S.T.E.M. Club

We are a student led club whose goal is to create and support a community of young people interested in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.

We want to advance a community of passionate learners by introducing students to professionals and mentors, igniting their innate desire to learn, and nurturing in them an intellectual curiosity.

By educating young people about the various prospects of research in the sciences across a variety of fields, we hope to shape how the next generation approaches real world problems, both scientific and societal.

Founder

Dev Gala

Dev's curiosity and creativity fuel most of his ideas. His brain either runs 100 miles an hour or doesn't function at all, there is no in-between.

His interests lie in neuroscience and psychology, and he is absolutely fascinated by brain and cognition.

His appetite for knowledge and affinity for research attracts him to the sciences.

Shagnik Dasgupta

Shagnik is an intuitive, imaginative & open minded individual. Focusing on objectivity and rationality, he is decisive, thorough and highly organized.

His keen interest in the fundamentals of science and assertive personality drives his passion for STEM.

Dheya Bachkar

I'm Dheya Bachkar, currently studying in 12th grade in the science stream. As the co-president of our school's STEM club, I'm passionate about spreading knowledge and enthusiasm for STEM among kids and encouraging them to explore the amazing wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
I enjoy diving into various programming languages to enhance my coding skills by doing various projects. Outside of academics, I find joy in reading, painting, and staying active through sports. My goal is to inspire and empower others to explore the exciting world of science and technology!

Mihir Vaidya

I’m Mihir, currently in class 12A science and I proudly serve as the treasurer of the STEM club.
I am committed to educate and mentor children from underprivileged backgrounds and help them in understanding the vast fields of STEM.
I enjoy the subjects of Geography and History and spend almost an hour on Wikipedia every day reading about the most ‘random’ topics.
I love watching and playing cricket.
My favourite cricketer is Kane Williamson(so you understand what kind of a person I am)
I also love listening to Old Hindi songs and devotional songs.

Adit Rawat

Hello reader! I'm Adit, perhaps one of the most irritating people on this planet. I'm currently studying in class 12A science and my hobby is being extremely unskilled at videogames and being a part time idiot. I'm also the president of the S.T.E.M. Club (how fitting) and I aspire to manage this club and lead it to be an amazing and fun club. Some other things that I do include, being bad at sports, programming, watching anime, cooking (occasionally) and sleeping.

Kyle Irani

I’m Kyle currently, currently in class 12 A Science. I am the head of outreach of the bishops school STEM club and will make sure we have great volunteering activities throughout the academic year. My hobbies are listening to music, programming. My favourite subjects are computer science and mathematics. I hope to be able to nurture my juniors into bright minds who love to explore the brilliant world of STEM just like myself.
